Ideal for use indoor use for mat wells, particularly those with complex or unusual shapes our orange coir matting can be trimmed to an exact fit with a sharp knife. PVC backed coir has a very uniform dense surface so gives a very neat, hard-wearing finish. If your mat well is deeper simply put a piece of plywood in the bottom and sit your mat on top.
Unfortunately we do have to charge for delivery of the samples. However if you do come back and order from us, in your with your sample you will receive a discount code that will refund the delivery cost of your sample off your new order.
We do not usually recommend PVC backed coir for outdoor use. In situations where it is likely to get very wet, the PVC backing prevents the water running away. Normal indoor use where the mat becomes wet from shoes and umbrellas etc is absolutely fine, and is what this matting is designed for, but we do not recommend it being left outside to the elements. If you do wish to use PVC backed coir in an outdoor location the backing can be punctured with holes to allow any water build up to run away. This version of PVC backed matting is in blue, with the entire Coir Fibres in that colour.
