Our Blue PVC Backed Coir Matting is 17mm thick and comes in 2 colours Royal Blue or Peacock Blue to match your home decor.

Ideal for use indoor use for mat wells, particularly those with complex or unusual shapes our blue coir matting can be trimmed to an exact fit with a sharp knife.

PVC backed coir has a very uniform dense surface so gives a very neat, hard-wearing finish. If your mat well is deeper simply put a piece of plywood in the bottom and sit your mat on top.

Our 17mm coloured coir matting is available in a range of vibrant colours including Black, Red, Green, Grey and Dark Brown. For those looking for a more traditional entrance mat, we also offer Natural coir matting in thicknesses of 14mm, 17mm, 20mm, 24mm and 30mm.

The Coloured PVC Backed Coir matting is designed primarily for indoor use. It serves as extremely effective barrier matting, adept at handling moisture from shoes, umbrellas, and the like. However, it's crucial to note that this matting is NOT suitable for outdoor use. While it can manage the occasional indoor dampness, it's not designed to withstand prolonged exposure to outdoor elements.

Our Blue PVC Backed Coir is cut to size here in our UK Lincoln workshop. It will be despatched the next working day from ordering.

We send all our orders via DHL and you will receive a tracking email from us by 5pm on the day of despatch.
We ask that you provide a mobile number with your delivery address. We pass this number over to DHL as they will text you with a time slot of when your order should be delivered. If you do not provide us with a mobile number an email shall be sent instead.

At the point of placing your order, you can state a safe place to leave your order if you are out, or you can opt to leave it with a neighbour.
Within the DHL text or email providing your timeslot, there is the option to rearrange delivery or have it sent to a service point to be collected from there.

Cons: They can shed fibres over time and with all PVC Backed Coir Matting they are best installed in a matwell recess so the edges are protected.

Do You Need Underlay For Coir Matting?

For PVC backed coir that is installed in a matwell / recess No! As long as the mat is installed to be flush with the edges of the mat well the mat will not move around.

Can Coir Doormats Get Wet?

Coir doormats can handle moisture from the bottom of shoes and umbrellas. But with all coloured PVC backed coir the fibre is dyed. So if this mat gets very wet the colour may run. This mat should only be used indoors.
