Traditional Coir mats are made to measure using techniques that have been used for over 100 years.

All mats are hand made, and lovingly tied at the edges, giving a mat that not only looks very classical but is also very hard-wearing.

We can also make the mat to your drawing or template. Please follow our instructions for how to measure.

Further Information
Traditional Made to Measure Coir Matting is ideally suited to areas that may be prone to a little more moisture than usual. As the mat is without a PVC or rubber backing, moisture passes straight through, allowing the coir to breathe. The mat dries quicker, and the mat lasts longer.

Traditional Made to Measure Coir Mats are made by our craftsman using the same tools and techniques as 100 years ago. The coir is cut to size and the edging is hand bound, allowing for a stylish look to any environment.

These mats are those which are supplied to National Trust properties in the UK.

The thickness of these mats mean printing cannot be added. The coir fibres are too long and lush!

Due to high demand the current lead time for our Bespoke Hand Made Coir Doormat is 12 weeks

Here at Make An Entrance we close our office and workshop from the 20th of December until the 2nd of January 2025.

Therefore any orders placed from the 30th of November for our Bespoke Hand Made Coir Doormat will not be produced or despatched until the New Year.
We thank you for your understanding.

We send all our orders via DHL and you will receive a tracking email from us by 5pm on the day of despatch.
We ask that you provide a mobile number with your delivery address. We pass this number over to DHL as they will text you with a time slot of when your order should be delivered. If you do not provide us with a mobile number an email shall be sent instead.

At the point of placing your order, you can state a safe place to leave your order if you are out, or you can opt to leave it with a neighbour.
Within the DHL text or email providing your timeslot, there is the option to rearrange delivery or have it sent to a service point to be collected from there.
